A Daily Pro Alternative to Calling Triple A

This is a trick I was taught by my father, a mechanic. Thankfully, I've only had to do it once, when I lost the key to my 1968 Monterey after a show. Obviously, cars these days have anti-theft devices. But, in a pinch, this is still a viable option if you lose your keys and don't want to wait for a tow!

A Daily Pro Tip Alternative to Febreze

Let me be the first to say I'm a fan of Febreze, I'm pretty sure I can thank Febreze for every date I went on during my college days.

That being said, we're in a recession.  Not everyone can afford the cost of Febreze.  This Daily Pro Tip is designed to save you $7 per bottle that they charge for these basic ingrediants...

What You Need:
1/3 cup White Vinegar
1/2 cup Liquid Fabric Softener
3 cups Water
Spray Bottle

Combine all ingredients in the spray bottle and shake!

Vinegar is a great deodorizer, use more or less depending on your needs and don't worry the vinegary smell dissipates very quickly leaving nothing but the nice fabric softener scent.

How to Make Amazing Rice Krispies Treats

This is the easiest way I've found to make delicious Rice Krispies treats, it really takes me back to my childhood days!  These also make a cost-effective and excellent Halloween "Trick or Treat".  What you'll need:

* 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
* Chocolate (optional)
* 40 big marshmallows, or 1 bag
* 1/4 Cup Butter
* 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional but recommended by myself)

1. Put ¼ cup of butter in a pot, and put on low heat for 5-10 min.

2. Add the 40 marshmallows, and vanilla. When all melted, add the rice crispies.

3. Spread the cereal mixture on the tray and flatten with a spatula. You may need to repeatedly grease the spatula since the mixture will be very sticky.

4. Let it cool to room temperature for 15-20 minutes, cut into 24 pieces and enjoy !

Coffee in a Pinch!

I think we've all been there, Monday morning rolls around and there's nay a coffemaker or Starbucks in sight.  Well, here's a way to get by on just the basics and still get that coffee in your system...

Survival of the Fittest!

Winter is upon us!  Surviving in the snow is not something anyone wants to worry about, which is why there are so many deaths related to exposure.  Keep the following in mind...

Changing Road Signs

Although technically not 100% legal, changing road signs is part of what makes life worth living...

Making a Homemade Tear Gas Mask

Easier than one would assume, all you need is a bottle, a clinical mask and some vinegar...

Escaping Alligator Attacks

As a guy who has lived in Florida and Texas, this has been something lingering in the back of my mind...

Making a Paper Look Longer

This was definitely useful in my college days, I wish I had this type of info back in my highschool years...
